So, did I do all the addreses right? Did I cover all the groups
tht I should've? I want you to post my tree and these notes, if
you would on that space on your website where you have the scanned
copies of the Bible. Those are nasty and I'm going to get better
noes done at KINKOs and send them to you. THANKS!!!!! I'm finally
getting around to this.
Do YOU know where these people get this information? They didn't
call people Confederates until AFTER the Confederacy was created
and secession had occured, did they?
Any way, when is your Stamper reunion this year? I would love
to come over and meet yo.

Hi all Stamper Genealogists! I send this to help define what we
believe to be the true ancestral and descendant lineage of Dillard
Stamper 1795-1860. It is, of course greatly abbreviated to show
only the people included in the two Bible Sources listed below.
Note that the other researcher that I collaberate with, Virginia
Gugin Roberts, she descends from Dillard A Stampers first born
son John Washington Stamper (1824-1905) that went west to OREGON.
I welcome true dialogue between those of us who do research on
these people, so that you will know where I, and many others are
getting our information. I would absolutely love if you all would
please provide me your source documentation that says things like
this Dillard A Stamper "was the son of Joel Stamper and Nancy
Canaday who was born in 1973 to William Canaday Sr. Wife also
named Nancy. Joel Stamper died April 30, 1833 - his wife, Nancy
died about 1820. Dillard was a small lame man and was a Confederate
Soldier in the Civil War and lost a leg. Margaret dies in 1852
in Illinois and Dillard moved to Tennessee and died on April 7,1860.
they had nine children. " Thats really neat stuff, but where'd
it come from, a book somewhere? I would love to know your sources,
even as I have source documents to the contrary.
OH, and by the way, I always wonder if anyone out there has ever
PLUGGED this particular John A. Stamper (1769-1846) into their
family trees anywhere else? He certainly is in the same area as
the rest of them......... I welcome real discussion on this topic!
