GENERATIONS ... Vol#2
By ..... Stamper Family Descendants

GENERATIONS, Volume 1 was such a success; we knew a second volume would follow close behind. Compilation of the second
volume has begun. We want to give every family member the opportunity to share their 'favorite' dish/dishes.

Are you from the age that you remember the old wood stoves with the water reservoir at the end? Can't you smell the wood smoke
right now; along with the bread baking in the oven?

Do you have memories of 'Grandmother's Kitchen'? Homemade biscuits, cakes and pies ..... Grandma could always measure the
ingredients without even a measuring cup. Remember 'shucky' beans; and the dried apples? How the beans would be broke and
strung on thread; and hung on the wall behind the stove?

Along with your favorite recipe; please include a favorite memory ..... of your mom; or grandma; or even yourself and siblings in your
childhood. Be sure to tell us the Stamper line also. If you can include a pic of the person in your stories ... that would be 'icing on
the cake' ..... :-)

Carol Cooke deserves credit for the original idea of the Stamper cookbook. She did such a good job with it. May the second volume
follow in the same tradition.... Thanks, Carol....:-)
