Flag Day,
traditionally observed by more than 1,000 Elks Lodgers over the
nation - inspired a special ceremony Sunday at the local Lodge
No 545. Dr Earle E Tisdale, exalted ruler, stands behind a floral
Liberty Bell which has been placed on the flag-draped table.

| Bobby Stamper, son of Mrs Mildred Stamper of the Dawson Road, has returned home after undergoing surgery at Kosair Hospital, Louisville. His condition is reported to be much improved. |
