Lenora Osbourn Stamper, 92, of Chenoa, Ill., formerly of Grant County, died Wednesday at Meadows Mennonite Retirement Community, Chenoa. She was a member and attended Vale Baptist Church, Bloomington, Ind. Her husband, Rev. Lemuel N. Stamper, died in 1993. (Could this be Lemuel; son of Andrew Monroe Stamper and Elizabeth 'Betty' Pratt)? Survivors include daughters, Carolyn Brown of Normal, Ill., and Elosie Odum of Scott City, Kan.; and three grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Eckler-Hudson Funeral Home, Dry Ridge. Visitation will begin there at 9 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Owenton Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
