Son of Elsbury J Stamper and Elmina C Matthews. Born April 25,1862 Wapello,Louisa County,Iowa. Died November 01, 1947, probably in or around Boise, Ada County, Idaho. It is said that he wrote poetry and was a farmer. His father took a job as a janitor so that he and a sister, June, could complete their education.
