Four months later...... Josh and his dad the afternoon before graduation.

Josh and his dad as we are leaving base after graduation
When Larry was in AIT, he was stationed here at the same base. As we were leaving the base, my husband said, 'Well, this is the last time .... I will be at this base. ......

Little did he know that the following year.....

Our older son, Bill would join the Army; and graduate from the same base....

Once again ..... :-) Welcome to Fort Leonard Wood .... Fort 'Lost In The Woods' ...:-)

Front row bleacher seats..... right before the begining of the graduation exercises....

After graduation .... after the banquet .......

Cleaning out the barracks ..... getting ready to go home for a few days......

While we will be driving home ..... Bill gets to fly home to Columbus, Ohio

Saying 'goodbye' at the terminal..... Bill would probably be home by the time we make it to St Louis.

Bill became a new dad, Aug 1st; graduated Aug 8th; and left for Japan and South Korea on the 16th, 2003. A year has passed; and Bill is now at Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn, New York area.

May this page serve as a tribute to our many Stamper ancestors and cousins who have served in the military; and are serving today ... to keep us a free country; and enabling us to enjoy the freedoms that we do today. If you would like to recognize your 'military' family members; forward their name (and pic) ; plus little of their information.

Our hats are off; and we salute you!!
